The Anix takes on Deftones’ “Digital Bath” from cataclysmic album White Pony with assailing vocals, heavy, unrelenting guitars and seamless programming for a fervent homage to the early 2000’s alternative metal hit. The track premiered yesterday with Revolver Magazine ahead of the artist’s album Hologram releasing October 11th.
Considering his deep connection to the Deftones original, it’s no surprise that the Anix’s rendition is less an adventurous reimagining and more a reverent homage, though the cover does bring an emphatic electronic edge to the song.
